Webinar: The Pantry of the Future

TexScale Presents a webinar about how fossil resources are rapidly depleting while textile waste continues to grow alarmingly. It’s time to rethink how we approach raw materials by creating a sustainable, circular “material pantry” using post-consumer textiles.

Join Catrine Marchall and Stina Björquist from RISE as they introduce innovative tools and strategies from the CISUTAC project and the Framework for Circular Textiles. This seminar will provide insights into effective textile waste classification, data-driven methods, and practical ways to manage the most challenging textile fibres.

What You’ll Gain from the Seminar:

  • Overview of the projects CISUTAC and Framework Circular Textiles.

  • Learn how these key initiatives are advancing circularity in the textile industry.

  • Tools and data for textile waste classification.

  • Discover essential tools for categorising textile waste effectively.

  • Understand which textile fibres are hardest to recycle and how to tackle them.

  • Tips to start using recycled fibres.

  • Explore practical advice for integrating recycled materials into new products.

Why This Matters

Every year, vast amounts of textile waste go unused or are incinerated. By adopting circular solutions, we can transform waste into valuable resources and reduce dependency on fossil-based raw materials. This webinar offers actionable insights for businesses aiming to enhance sustainability and innovation.
