Innovation & Sustainability with Swedish Wool at FormeX

We had the opportunity to showcase our innovative contribution to the Formex exhibition, where design meets sustainability. Our display featured a groundbreaking solution: blankets made from Swedish wool, developed as part of our SnOWWOol Project.

These blankets represent an innovative, sustainable solution for insulating and preserving snow between seasons, offering a more eco-friendly alternative to existing methods. Thank you to Arena Svensk Ull for creating this space for us at Formex.

Why Wool? Why Swedish Wool?

The answer lies in the natural brilliance of wool. Wool is a renewable, recyclable material with exceptional properties, including:

  • Thermal insulation for year-round comfort

  • Moisture regulation to maintain freshness

  • Flame resistance, ensuring safety

By choosing Swedish wool, we reduce transport emissions, support local craftsmanship, and strengthen the circular economy. We are also addressing a critical issue: did you know that 50% of Sweden’s wool goes unused? Despite its incredible properties, this valuable resource often goes to waste. We would love to change that by bringing wool to the forefront of sustainable materials innovation.

Our carding and needle loom machines allow us to process wool efficiently into high-quality materials. These tools are essential for turning raw wool into products that support sustainability and design innovation.

We would love to connect with you to explore the possibilities of sustainable design and materials innovation.
